Images of the Infinite: Hubble Space Telescope
Since its deployment from the space shuttle Discovery on April
25, 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) has provided us with
spectacular awe-inspiring images and has have enriched our
understanding of the Universe. This sky show highlights the
history and top science findings of the telescope, as well as
taking you on an unforgettable tour through the Solar System,
Milky Way Galaxy, and to the limits of the visible Universe!

Blueprint for the Red Planet
StarRider™ Theater Show
Presented in the world's first interactive virtual
environment planetarium theater, this show invites participants
to imagine themselves as settlers on the planet Mars in the year
2030. These "Mars Settlers" will choose the location
and architecture for their community as well as enjoy a
"fly through" of their completed settlement. Through

Journey to Infinity
StarRider™ Theater Show
Join us on an interactive trip through the Universe, which
begins on an alien world five billion
years ago. You'll witness the formation of our solar system from
gas and dust enriched by star explosions and fly out from Earth
past the Sun and planets, through the stars of the Milky Way
Galaxy into the distant realms of the Universe. Along the way
you'll navigate through the oceans of Europa, a moon of Jupiter,
and in a canyon on the red planet Mars, looking for the
possibilities of life. Open run.
The Adler Planetarium &
Astronomy Museum opened in 1930 as the first Planetarium in the
Western Hemisphere. Newly expanded and updated facilities,
including the stunning new Sky Pavilion and the renovated
landmark 1930s building, have prepared the museum for a
leadership role in the next millennium. Seven new exhibition
galleries, along with state-of-the-art computer technology in
the world's first StarRider™ Theater, fuel the imagination of
visitors. By showcasing the latest discoveries and its renowned
collection of historical astronomy artifacts, the Adler pursues
its mission to be the leading public center for interpreting the
exploration of the Universe.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.,
Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m., Weekends and holidays, 9:00 a.m.
- 6:00 p.m. Thanksgiving and Christmas Day the Planetarium is
closed.
Admission is $5 adults, $4 children 17 and under and senior
citizens 65 and over. Admission is free on Tuesdays and
StarRider™ Theater tickets are $5 per person, all ages.
